Axon-way wins First Prize at Cheng Wu Innovation Challenge

Axon-way took first prize home at Cheng Wu Innovation Challenge 2021. Axon-way, a software tool that finds the effects of neurological and psychological conditions on white matter structural connectivity of the brain. Axon-way project is led by Bramsh Qamar Chandio, PhD Candidate advised by Dr. Garyfallidis. Chandio's team was awarded $15,000 prize money.

The Cheng Wu Innovation Challenge encourages IU Bloomington students to use technology in innovative ways to address compelling problems. It is hosted every year by hosted by Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering where students present their technologically innovative ideas and compete for prize money.
